Crossroad Hlavní třída a Slezská street in Frýdek-Místek - study

The subject of this diploma thesis is variant design of adaptation of T- intersection to crossroad at Frýdek-Místek. At first, there was made traffic forecast of generated traffic from regional planning. After that, there were made traffic forecast from relocation of road II/477. Then for every traffic forecast there were made two more variants of designs. The first variant is designed by one lane roundabout and signal-controlled intersection with signal timing plan. The second and the third variant are designed by turbo roundabout and signal-controlled intersection with signal timing plan. All variants have their own capacity analysis.

The subject of the Master thesis is alternative solutions of the parking lot including review of parking bays and adjacent paved areas for the needs of the shopping area (wholesale of food, eight stores of different charakter, fast food restaurant, fuel station and 3 automatic car wash systems) and design two variants of intersections (direct intersection and roundabout) with new urban road where is the shopping area connected. A traffic survey and capacity assessment of existing and newly proposed variants were carried out for the design of the intersection.
Crossroad I/14 x III/3037 x III/3038 x III/3039 - Červený Kostelec

The subject of the master´s thesis is the elaboration of a technical study that focuses on the modification of a five-branched road intersection involving roads I/14, III/3037, III/3038 and III/3039. The intersection is situated within the urban area of Červený Kostelec, specifically in its main activity centre. The primary motivation for commissioning the technical study is the need to address a complex and expansive intersection in the city centre, propose a solution to close at least one incoming roadway, thereby reducing its footprint, and simultaneously create an enlarged space for a square. Within the technical study, three capacity-assessed variants for resolving the intersection were proposed. Additionally, for the adjacent intersection on Tyršovo Square, in connection with the closure of one branch on the primary intersection, two variants with different road markings configurations were suggested. The forementioned variants stand as the final output of the technical study.
Vaccination center 4.0

The diploma thesis deals with modeling the pedestrian movement in a high-capacity vaccination center during the covid-19 pandemic. The subject of the modeling is the vaccination center that was operated by the Brno University Hospital at the Brno Exhibition Center in the first half of 2021. The work describes the vaccination process in the center and the related theory of pedestrian movement. A numerical model of the vaccination center was created in the Pathfinder program on the basis of data obtained, among other things, from the analysis of video recordings taken at the center. This was used for the capacity assessment of the vaccination center and for the creation of a design model of the center handling a higher intensity of incoming patients. The output of the thesis is a proposal for the layout of the vaccination center, which will allow the center to vaccinate the highest number of patients per day.
